Assessments
For culture transformation to occur there must first be individual awareness. The basis for individual transformation is self-awareness. All of our assessments directly increase individual self-awareness which we utilize to change perspective and increase organizational achievement.
Halogenex utilizes a series of assessments that provide objective information to identify individual and organizations' strengths as well as areas of needed improvement. These assessments provide the opportunity to accelerate performance improvement by utilizing strengths to overcome obstacles.
Individual Assessments
The individual assessments are behavior based and are not personality tests. We do not offer personality tests as our primary interest is in changing behavior not identifying the personality traits that will not change. Our goal is to deliver results and we believe behavior is a choice that we choose everyday - and is thus our primary focus.
The individual assessments cover behavior styles, communication, attitudes, values and motivations. We also offer assessments that focus on organizational issues such as employee satisfaction or customer surveys.
Executive Series (DISC)
Identifies behavior and interpersonal communication preferences. Understanding this information provides the capability to more effective and productive communication throughout the organization.
Personal Interests, Attitudes and Values (PIAV)
Identifies attitudes and values on a priority basis. Awareness of attitudes and values enables clarification of what drives actions as well as what causes conflict. Understanding this information provides insight for personal effectiveness, satisfaction and success.
Quality of Motivation Questionnaire (QMQ)
Identifies the motivations underlying behaviors and values. Understanding sources of motivation, decision making and skills provides a foundation for accelerating personal improvement.
Hartman Value Profile (HVP)
Measures Intrinsic, Extrinsic and Systematic dimensions to evaluate thinking patterns. The results of any individual's thought process depends on the amount of focus they place on the combination of these three dimensions. Understanding this information allows recognition of decision processes.
Professional Development Survey (sometimes called 360 Degree Survey)
A comprehensive and multi-perspective evaluation designed to enhance an individual's performance. Feedback is received from a variety of sources - the individual themselves, their manager, their peers or colleagues and their direct reports. The information derived from this tool should result in greater self-awareness for the individual assessed which should then translate into improved performance. This instrument is used at the beginning of a coaching engagement and at periodic subsequent points to measure and monitor progress.
Leadership Profile
This instrument describes leadership from several perspectives. It helps the individual discover their own leadership style, the type leader with whom they work best and also addresses the dimensions of leadership needed by an organization to meet its challenges.
Time Mastery Profile
This instrument evaluates 12 areas on time management and provides valuable "how to" information the participant can use to improve time efficiency. Specific strategies are offered that dramatically enhance the performance of the participant. Goal setting, scheduling, prioritization, improve meeting effectiveness are just a few of the actionable items that may be implemented.
Listening Profile
Poor listening impedes performance and impairs relationships. Learning effective listening is essential for today's workplace. This tool enables a participant to discover their preferred listening style as well as others with contrasting styles and how to better relate to them. A practical take away is a personal development plan to improve overall communications.
Organizational Assessment
Global Organizational Assessment (sometimes called Climate Survey)
Successful companies are passionate about customer and employee feedback and respond decisively to their opinions. This instrument allows management to secure customized and relevant feedback from key stake holders and employees in specific aspects of their business. When used correctly, this information directly impacts customer service, performance improvement, service delivery, and profitability.
